It is the most common entry point for individual visitors and those with pre-booked audio tours.

Location: Right side of the Nativity Facade, on Carrer de la Marina

Entrance Timings: 9 am to 6 pm

Wait Time: 45 minutes

Group Entrance

You can only enter through this entrance if you travel with a pre-booked group tour.

Location: Left side of the Nativity Facade, on Carrer de la Marina

Entrance Timings:  9 am to 6 pm

Wait Time:  30 mins to 2 hours

School Visits Entrance

School groups with pre-arranged visits can only enter through this third entrance.

Location: Back side of the basilica, on Carrer de la Sardenya

Entrance Timings:   No specific opening timings

Wait Time:   Depends on the time of the year

Tips for a seamless entry:

  • Purchase tickets online in advance, especially during peak season, to avoid long queues at the ticket booth.
  • Arrive early to avoid crowds, particularly if you haven’t pre-booked your tickets.
  • Have your tickets or booking confirmation readily available for a quick check-in.
  • Bring a valid ID if requested while presenting your tickets.
  • Check the weather forecast and dress accordingly, especially if you will be spending time outdoors.

Remember: Food and drinks are not allowed inside the basilica. However, there are cafes and restaurants nearby where you can grab a bite before or after your visit.

Disabled Entry

The Sagrada Familia is committed to providing an accessible experience for visitors with disabilities.

For visitors with disabilities, the Sagrada Familia offers wheelchair access through the entrance on Carrer de la Sardenya, situated at the back of the basilica. 

Once inside, head to the Visitors Services Centre for assistance and guidance.

Free entrance to Sagrada Familia for Disabled

People with a disability level of 65% or more are eligible for free admission, along with one companion.

On arrival, you will need to show valid documentation proving your disability level at the entrance for free admission.
